Merger off, I like to think it was Ilan's outburst that did it.
Basically all that's happened is Jumbo have lost Roglic.

The only thing we can hope now, and I speak for every single cycling fan of course, is that Remco destroys everyone coming Tour de France.
Wolfpack forever!
Curious about the backlash.

That's a bit taken out of context, innit? Don't know why he should be seen as responsible for all this drama. It's clear that it went over all their heads.Remco, or maybe more his entourage do not come off this whole story as the good guys.

Oh yes, they do. Refusing the stupid merger. Respect for Evenepoel refusing to go to the team of Plugge.Remco, or maybe more his entourage do not come off this whole story as the good guys.
Brailsford works in mysterious ways.Big question is, what the heck do Ineos do with only 15 riders at the moment for next year?

All riders and staff keep their jobs. Fantastic news. Well done, Remco !

I hope so too.I hope many riders and DS's in the team cars will give a hard time to Plugge and co next year (sporting wise obvsly)
But surely they can't all just go back to like nothing happened? Clearly the intent was there, and there are finance issues. And those things won't just change even without the merger.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but sponsors are 'merging', not the teams (they are still two separate licenses). If they are not buying the business, there is no merger.
