Hatch, who also commented on him the TotA, mentioned him a few times when he was pacing the group behind Healy/Bardet/Cosnefroy/Gregoire. But Tiberi was also right up there behind the UAE train for most of the day. Excited to see him in the Giro.

Someone of his weight podium iat Lieje is not easy at all, although it is true that the new route makes it easier.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I see LBL as far better suited to WvA than VdP. Wout is a significantly better climber. The stars really had to align for VdP to podium here, and they did.

A great win for the greatest rider in the world. Bardet impressive in second. Van der Poel exceptional to make the podium after a long spring campaign and having to ride hard to make it back to the lead group after getting held up in the crash mid race.
