Teams & Riders Official Wout Van Aert thread

I completely agree. In previous years, WvA seemed more dominant than this spring and never have won any significant monument, Olympics or rainbow (obviously, besides M-SR). He´s far from washed but Pogi and MVDP are really looking better than him. In september he is already 30 and young hungry...

Teams & Riders Official Wout Van Aert thread

Someone should rename the thread. Official Wout Van Aert is the Belgian Pozzato would be perfectly appropriate.

I don´t think so. Julian is closer to being considered washed then being on the level of MVDP or TP.

Nothing really. He just didn´t bother to sprint. :D

He´s still in the main group. I think the Wellens attack is too early.

C´mon. It´s like Zlatan Ibrahimovic was changing football for futsal. He´d be easily one of the best there. Take it pls with grain of salt.

@Extinction MVDP outsprints WVA once again. But sure, WVA is DEFINITELY better sprinter than Sagan...

And you guys are naive if you think the WVA won't have more contenders. Every year young talents arrive and I expect that soon a new machine will appear that will dominate peloton.

Teams & Riders Peter Sagan discussion thread.

If you look at it from the perspective that he started to stagnate relatively early (when he was 30), then yes. But if you look at when Sagan started winning (2010!), then good luck to Wout Van Aert.

Yep. If he fails to win at least a few of them, he´ll be always be considered the Belgian Pozzato.
