Giro d'Italia Giro d’Italia 2024, Stage 6, Torre del Lago Puccini (Viareggio) – Rapolano Terme, 180km

Another entertaining stage. Good win by Sanchez. Nice break by the three riders.

    National Football League

49ers have lost their last three SB's. Some 49ers fans think it had to be last year or this season otherwise they won't do it with Shanahan. Took Andy Reid a while to convert and really the 49ers loss in the last SB came down to a few mistakes and a few plays but I always thought they had to...

Knicks win again, with a bigger margin. DiVencenzo doing much better than he did with the Bucks.

Think a a break could take this one. Small time gaps in the GC mix unless Pogacar goes turbo just because he can. Tactically the TT will give him the time gaps he wants and more. Thomas can solidify a podium with a good TT.

    Giro d'Italia Giro d‘Italia 2024, Stage 5, Genova-Lucca, 178 km

What a win for Thomas and Cofidis. He instigated the move off the front then watched one rider take a flier and attempt a long sprint, didn't panic and judged it perfectly Will be a few miffed team managers at the dinner table tonight but kudos to the break.

And half the field wouldn't make the time cut in the final week............

    National Football League

Miami is in a similar position to the Cowboys. Good teams but not getting the best from their QB's in the playoffs and I still wouldn't put either team up there with the Chiefs or the 49ers. Cowboys didn't do much in FA and most people seemed to think their draft was one of the worst. I wouldn't...

    Giro d'Italia Giro d‘Italia 2024, Stage 4 Acqui Terme-Andora, 190 km

Ewan seems to be one of the those sprinters where everything has to go right unlike someone like Robbie McEwen who could win from hopeless positions seemingly. Then again McEwen was a much better bike handler and was willing to take more risks.

Strong win by Milan. Shame Girmay crashed out.

    Giro d'Italia Giro d‘Italia 2024, Stage 4 Acqui Terme-Andora, 190 km

Sprint teams should be able to control this stage. Not enough climbing for a good break to usually succeed and the main climb is a long way from the finish.

Missed opportunity for the Pacers. Knicks also got some late favourable calls.
