none of that has anything to do with the basic principle of when you get caught doing something, you keep your mouth shut and do your time. a real man deals with the consequences of his decisions.
and just because Landis is charming you want to forgive him for being a rat? no way, POS forever

You have very questionable morals. Thank god there are people unlike you out there.

You prefer a dirty sport where cheats and dopers are treated with respect where those who feel they have done wrong should keep quiet instead of trying to change the cheating and doping?

That's very very sad and reflects more about you than it does Landis.

The code of criminals. A morally bankrupt code that is used by those who have wronged in some way to hide their acts. The idea that it is somehow a trait one should aspire to is just what is desired by those committing the worst crimes.
The fact that there are those who see it as it is, a crock of s**t is good for society. Those who cant see that I feel sorry for.

I didn't think the interview with Kimmage gave any impression that Landis was particularly "charming" as you put it. Just a pretty harrowing and ultimately honest account by a man who'd bit by bit allowed himself to be morally compromised, and the psychological baggage and eventual awful consequences that brought.
As others have pointed out, where does your horrible "code of thieves" morality get anybody?

You've got to remember you're dealing with choir boys in here - not men in the real world. They've thrown their first stone a long time ago and are mocking you because you haven't.

What a strange post! By implication you'd be thinking Greg LeMond was a "choirboy" too, or Paul Kimmage, Walsh, Adreau, or any others trying to shine a light into dirty corners? None of them real men in the real world?

No-ones mocking, just genuinely surprised at such gruesome rationalisation.

I had time on a series of planes yesterday to re-read The Rough Ride.

Ithas been years since I list read it and was quite surprised yesterday that I had forgotten what a complete piece of rubbish David Millar was, and is.

This is probably the worst post I've read on the forum.

What's this old fashioned nonsense about 'snitching' Landis is one of the few to have completely and wholeheartedly confessed and revealed his sins, none of this 2006 nonsense.
