Obama's speech was very impressive, even if I think he is not that great.

Obama is writing his own law with Executive orders, thus bypassing congress. Now his amnesty program will have the force of his law. HURT them. That's how we win in the long run"

It's hilarious, this stuff is comedy gold.

A fine speech, indeed!

What's happening with Bachmann?

I guess that will depend to a large extent on how those Tea baggers who have managed to keep their congressional seats will behave in view of their resounding defeat nationally. btw how are the congressional crazies doing? I have no idea.

Good to see that the Skins jinx was broken too!

edit - damn, I've either been banned from one of the fun wingnut pages, or they've closed it. In either event, I couldn't post. Pity, it was a lot like shooting fish in a barrel.

Well if that is sincere, fair enough but you have been making quite a few snide comments towards myself, so it is a reasonable assumption.

I tild you the 2014 elections would start on 7 November.

Mitch "turtle neck" McConnell (who is up for Senate reelection and will probably take the teaparty wingnut platform so as not to be primaried):

Quote:
“The American people did two things: they gave President Obama a second chance to fix the problems that even he admits he failed to solve during his first four years in office, and they preserved Republican control of the House of Representatives.
Quote:
“Now it’s time for the president to propose solutions that actually have a chance of passing the Republican-controlled House of Representatives and a closely-divided Senate, step up to the plate on the challenges of the moment, and deliver in a way that he did not in his first four years in office.
Meaning: Mr "one term president" McConnell will force the President do the right dingbat thing, or otherwise he will make sure nothing happens in the next 4 years.

Wash, rinse, repeat?

Yup, I have been banned from 'No Lapdog Media' on FB.

Someone else needs to take up the mantle of telling those wingnuts what's what.

'First Lady Ann Romney' is still up and running and hasn't banned me yet.

i know for those who have followed closely the election and voted, there was a difference between the 2.

but from my point point of view there is little if any. the same corporate capitalism will continue to resist the real domestic change and drag the us foreign policy. i do however think that obama will be more pragmatic with both the allies and the enemies and therefore seems a better choice.
