You had me till this bit....

Mr Merckx, sir - it was the middle of the night when I wrote that, I'd had a few and I was not in Kafka mode....though even if I had double and triple read what I wrote before sending it, I think I probably would have stood by my choice of words......I simply do not comprehend that someone whose 'Weltanschauung' is of the left, can ever contemplate voting for the right. Call me naive if you like, but some of us out here are not swing thinkers, or swing voters.

I wrote in George W. Bush.

But from what I have been reading there was something seriously wrong and crazy if Romney received 0 votes in any area.

Then again nobody offered me a bus ride, cell phone or blank check for voting. Somehow the state I voted in required me to actually mail in my absentee vote using my own coin. What a crock of bull bleep.

Hey by the way everybody. Happy belated Veterans Day. also the United States Marine Corps celebrated a birthday this past weekend, so I will be the first to tell MYSELF Happy Birthday.

This will probably end up being a sordid tale of incredible stupidity and opportunism on everyone's part. It will be something like Petraeus unwisely courts Broadwell's company and ends up having an affair, perhaps the most recent of a long line of similar affairs with women he has mentored. Broadwell turns out to be a kook. She thinks Kelley is after her paramour, so she sends harassing emails. Kelley is having an affair with an FBI agent. The agent forces an investigation into the matter even though the FBI should not have been concerned. After being shut out of the investigation because he was obviously obsessed, the agent leaks information to Republican legislators. Maybe he leaks for political purposes. Maybe he leaks for other purposes. Kelley has an identical twin sister who went bankrupt and is currently living with the Kelleys. The twin is a lawyer who specializes in whistleblower suits as well as healthcare. Maybe the sisters figure the Kelleys, who are being hit with huge real estate lawsuits, can make money if Petreaus and his crazy lover are exposed.
This scandal is so funny. Oh, and another one. Weiner, Petreaus, General Allen (Breaking) , John Ensign, John Edwards, Larry Craig, Elliot Spitzer, Christopher Lee, Newt Gingrich, Bill Clinton. And the list goes on and on. At least there is bipartisan agreement on this subject.

So this married 2 children Kelley lady [Her sister is 3.2M in debt, and Kelley herself has been subject to 9 lawsuits seeking payment of debt; the financial/housing crisis hit them too I guess] contacts an FBI agent because she gets harassing emails from the, as it turned out to be, mistress of Petreaus; Broadwell. Why would Broadwell do that 1) afraid the affair gets exposed 2) she is jealous of Kelley. Apparently the emails accused Kelley of being a little too flirtatious... hmm. Kelley would like to get it on with Petreaus?

Then, she contacts this "friendly' FBI agent, who had sent pictures of himself to Kelley, and who then gets obsessed about these emails and wants to do everything he can to help... lol. Trying to get in the good graces of Kelley again, hoping she will 'repay' the favor?

The FBI found the guy to be a rightwing crackpot who's been watching FOX too much; they take him off the case because he acted "inappropriately," he was "not in cybercrime," and snooped around too much, told him to back off, and didn't want an investigation botched because of "conflict of interest." Now why is he a crackpot FOX news truther: he's kept out of the loop and, prior to the elections, doesn't see anything come out, so he assumes it's being "covered up." What does any good truther do during an ongoing investigation, start speculating and contact politicians, in this case Rep. Cantor's office (where he either knew someone, or he assumed Cantor would be on his side, as the "conservative teaparty leaning young gun"; seriously, why not the Intel committee chairmen, or the leader Boehner, or a senator with jurisdiction. Lol Cantor). Oh, and the FBI does not have internal whistleblower procedures? Run straight to a politician, right before the elections, hoping you can get Rmoney elected. He must have been terribly disappointed nothing broke. [update: also Congressman Dave Reichert from Washington, who is, like Cantor, also on the Ways and Means committee; also a teaparty nutter?]

As the NY reports: "Later, the agent became convinced — incorrectly, the official said — that the case had stalled. Because of his “worldview,” as the official put it, he suspected a politically motivated cover-up to protect President Obama,"

Read crackpot wingnut. And he has a job at the FBI... Too bad the government can hardly fire people, so'll he'll be promoted to a position where he won't bother anyone.

And now the FBI was reading Kelley's emails to investigate the case, and they find thousands of emails between herself and general Allen the commanding officer in Afghanistan. Seriously. Is she dumb, she didn't expect that to come out? Or is she hoping to write a tell-it all book about all her affairs with the jetset of the military [update: the fact that she surrounded herself with lawyers and a PR firm from the getgo, probably suggests there is more to come] haha.

Great entertainment.

So you got away with the gun run, huh Glenn?

Scotty, I'm seriously interested to hear your views on these calls for secession and impeachment, and if you would agree that these people are bats**t crazies.

Here's a piece that sums things up pretty well, imo -

http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la...,293179.column
The gun run was easy. I just had to look up what assault weapon I NEED and call the 1-800 number. They also do it over the interwebz but I decided to keep security in mind. The hard part about my order was the pallet of ammo that I ordered. They are charging me extra for overnight shipping! WTF????? I paused when the said that....so I asked them...did they not noticed that we just had an election???? that a socialist Muslim who was not even a US citizen was reelected?????? overnight shipping should be standard procedure! A crises of this proportion can not be ignored you have to have all these weapons and ammo for when the upcoming socialist laws.

With regards to secession -------what the hell? They lost the first time. I would hate to see what the place would be like if they actually had secession. These fools really don't know what secession means. I could point them towards our neighbors to the south but somehow I think they would not understand the example.

Seriously! Is that not a violation of the 2nd amendment! How can any good concerned citizen exercise his godgiven rights when they charge a bunch of money for overnight shipping. The exercise of your fundamental rights is delayed! This is how it all starts. Before you know it, they'll dissolve USPS and all the other delivery services and no one can get any guns anymore

I read somewhere that all the seceding states have the nukes...

Not only would this not be a scandal in Italy, but if you break your marriage vows here while in a high profile position you get awarded.

Like in France, where they consider it to by a sign of "civilization"

Yeah, Obama got a majority of the minority vote, so I just assumed that the same applied for old people in that demographic. It's a daring assumption, I agree...

No, an overdose of testosterone is in the house. It boils down to personal tragedies, fought out in the context where such tragedies can lead to blackmail.

Not really. I don't know what percentage of the advanced degree types are academics. But at least some are and of those I'd imagine they are solidly in Obama's camp.

Careful... now your are sounding insulting

The problem is it may not be accurate. At any rate I'd like to see a breakdown. If I can find one I'll post it.
