Which society should we try and replicate... the Greek one?

You already did, or at least you tried to, when you established a democracy.

Hey Rhub,

I was in Italy recently. You guys have a really nice craft brewery scene there. I was impressed.

And you know I never joke about beer.

Birrificio Italiano near Como has much to offer as does Birrificio San Quirico in Val d'Orcia. If you can get your hands on San Quirico's 'Giulitta'... you will not be disappointed.

Our resident scholar Rhubroma will disagree.

Greece is like Arizona, no big whoop. A drop in the proverbial bucket, other than for the ideologues and speculators.

Well cheers to you Mr. Scott SoCal. I shall indeed try to get me hands on some of that stuff. Although, you know, so much wine, so little time.

You were spitting out beer a few minutes ago!

So do you prefer wine from Italy or France?

I don't know much about wine but my buddy said Strawberry Hill by Boones farm is pretty good.

Jeez, you go out for some shopping and come back to find that the local comedians have added three pages!

Totally off topic, but any of you at your pcs right now may want to go here to watch live pictures from OZ (brought to you entirely by solar power) of the solar eclipse! The jaw-dropping shots are just starting.
