Seems you've changed your tune. Last week it was BMC = Bad Mistake Cadel and now its back to Silence are useless and managed by monkeys.
I think that seeing the 3 riders out of the top 4 for km's says that something needs to be changes as some riders are racing too much and others are racing too little.

Firstly, i always have and still do think that it wasn't a great idea for Cadel to move to BMC for the 2010 season. In 2011 once they have got a better list then he could move there. I have been trying to find positives in the move to BMC. It's called being an optimist. Secondly, i always thought Silence Lotto were a bunch of monkeys.

Go have a look at the race footage. Evans was integral to that win, and worked his **** off for Gilbert. You gotta concede that.

Evans could have been selfish, and gone for his own race. He had form, but he worked for Gilbert, even though he knew he was on his way out. Whatever anyone has to say overall about Evans' loyalty and his sleights and problems, they should concede this and get the record correct.
I was one of the first to acknowledge that Cadel helped Gilbert on all four of those wins and highlight it was an odd occurrence given he knew he was joining BMC. It was selfless and proof that Silence and Evans could work well when the team attitude is shared by all. I also have stated before that Silence and Evans had a brilliant September and October and deserve all the accolades and credit for their efforts.

Lomarbia is the only monument of the four, but a win is a win. Paris Tours wasn't too low a race to ignore. My point was to highlight that although Gilbert had a long season, he was in best form at the end of his season.

I will also concede that the statistics show that Silence look like they are spread thin. I wonder what percentage of those races the top 3 boys did are situated in or around Belgium? Is that a negative? Debatable, but Gilbert and Evans saved Silence's season.
