This. However 1&2 and 3&4 can switch very easily.

In a year or two it will be Phinney and Durbridge taking over though.

Martin, Fabian and Wiggo on the slide. Phinney, Durbridge, Bobridge, Dowsett on the rise.

I think Martin will continue to win. Wiggins, Phinney and Cancellara will push him.

Much like in the athletics at the Olympics, the favourite to
win the steeplechase is always "some Kenyan", nowadays
the favourite to be best TTer is "some pursuiter"....like
BMW, Phinney, Durbridge, etc.

Cancellara will try to win important races the rest of his career instead of pile up TT wins and working for GC men in the tour like he did in his early years.

Wiggins for the Tour has to loose more weigth then last year, so he is worse in the TT.

So that leaves Martin.

which is a good thing

WC was a lot of fun this year, even without Fabian. i'm hoping for something similar in 2013
Phinney to eek out a close one over Martin

Should be fascinating.

Martin Vs Phinney vs Cancellara for the Worlds and since Fabian is skipping the Tour It's Martin's to lose there.
Wiggins and Froome will drop off, and i feel it's too early for the Aussie's Turbo Durbo and Dennis.

This is the best period of TTers of the decade. Cancellara, Martin, Wiggins, Phinney, Froome, Durbridge, Dennis, Talansky, Van Garderen...

i agree, but i might not be so optimistic about durbridge (he has the pedigree). Neither wiggo nor froome will repeat their performances on the tt. wiggo will become more of a millar or zabriskie level after this year, and froome will become a cadel/contador level rider.
