Saxo > Israel. Radioschack > Luxemburg. Not a bad way to try and get a a favorable ruling.

Nah, Radioshack doesn't need to engage in any kind of humanitarian work to get a favorable treatment from the Lux fed. We are headed for CAS and here Radioshack may need to spend cash like Saxo did.

FFS mate, they are for all intents and purposes a Luxembourg based team. Now take that too tight tinfoil hat of your head and ask your mummy to throw all tinfoil away so it won't happen again.

Next round is today.

Fränk Schleck will be heard again, ALAD will hold its plaidoyer and the UCI (whom, may I repeat, were already present at the first hearing) might draw its conclusions.

The disciplinary committee could also decide on the verdict, however that seems highly unlikely.

What can we glean from Frank's expression?

there's not much more to go on, up until now

What with all the recent pathetic 3 and 6 month bans been handed out I suspect Schleck to get something similar and be ready to race the begining of 2013.

If this proves to be the case, then we can really forget about the peloton being clean due to the threat of hard scanctions

I can't see how UCI would possibly spin this if Frank does not get two years. In wake of everything that has happened it would be another F U to all of cycling. Not a surprise though

The bar is now very low. Everybody tries to drop it even lower.
6 months backdated ban for Schleck coming up.
These clever delay tactics will allow Schleck to participate in critical training camps and he will be ready for P-N.

This would be the kill shot for every other sponsor on the cusp of saying f.ck you to cycling, a la Rabobank

I guess it depends on the facts, he claims (his roommate as well?) that he can explain how that thing got in his system, so let's see...Having said that if there had been an obvious explanation I'm pretty sure we would have heard it by now so it's probably a variation on the steakgate.
