that has nothing to do with it

only the first 10 riders of a team get their points valued for team rankings. so a team can choose 20 riders without any points if they want

Two cyclists that had spent most of their careers in Team Lampre, decided to end their professional activity, even if their lifes will still be blue-fuchsia.
Daniele Righi (10 season in Team Lampre) and Marco Marzano (7 years) won't be cyclists anymore in 2013.

PureBlack Racing dissolved ... it's not immediately clear if the setup will stay afloat on a national level or completely stop
