Why? It's a nice custom. We have Christmas, Mother's Day and Tony Going for Yellow.

Itīs logical Martinīs goal has to be to become Tour Top10 contender. He is double World Champion in ITT, won Paris-Nice, so repeating this and maybe adding Romandie and Suisse wonīt be everything for him. Instead, Tour Top10 and Olympic ITT champion are logical goals.

Cobbles? No, he doesnīt like this sucidal risk, going 100% gas into the pavé sections, he once said in an interview with German Procycling.
Races like Liege? He said he doesnīt like Liege too much due to the rather short, explosive climbs.

Tony to target GT Gc in the future!

In an interviwe with a german sports website today, Tony announced that he will focus on GT GC in the future. He says he doesn't want to name a certain result which he targets, but he'll focus on improving in the mountains and in recovering in order to contest in the GC.

To be fair, Tony never said he was going for GC this year.

Tony lost to a horse in Dubai. He is clearly out of form. He should just quit and prepare the Worlds.
