Not sure, clearly not on form or had a bad day.

Another crash perhaps. In any case that's my cue to head to bed.

Solid ride by Matthews. He's really been putting in the work lately, hope it pays off for him at TdU.

He will be on a much stricter road racing training regime now and I feel he will have a top year, which would be nicely supplemented with the Aussie champs jersey.
FWIW Cam Meyer has been spotted doing serious training on the Kalamunda climb (Approx 4-5 km long) and the other hills just south of Perth most days over the last few weeks.

I know it's all relative when you compare yourself to the pros but he has been flying up the hills, he motored past my sunday morning bunch going up there looking like he was hardly working.

Good spotting, makes me feel even safer with predictions of a huge race for Meyer. Wonder if he will also ride TDU? Would be a strong team with a fit Meyer, Clarke and Gerrans riding together.

I see there are 4 OGE riders not doing the Nationals. O'Grady (who just raced the Herald Sun Tour), Davis, Hepburn and ?? (can't recall the 4th). Howard and Docker heading to San Luis to race with Albasini, Meier, Tuft and Weening.
