The new source cites T. Dekker was indeed "Classicomano Luigi" from the Fuentes files and had blood drawn 5 times and did transfusions before the Tirreno and Basque in 2006. When the whole thing blew up he got introduced to Matschiner

Since this seems to have become the official Rabo-thread, NRC had a new story today. They claim that LL Sanchez goes under the codename Huerta in Operacion Puerto. In 2006 he had donated blood 3 times and had it injected twice by Fuentes.

A sport director from Team Blanco says that extending Sanches' contract last year was a huge mistake, and that Luis Leon 'is a problem'. An internal investigation has been started against him, but because according to the Spanish there is no investigation against Sanchez, and he hasn't been banned, so it's very hard to fire him.

The team should just sideline the clown. Blanco's other riders seems capable of delivering results anyway.

Hmm, "Huerta" makes sense, since it's associated with LLS's native province of Murcia (the city of Murcia itself is located in the Huerta de Murcia region).

"Clasicómano Luigi" is puzzling. Since when was Dekker seen mainly as a classics rider? There's another Cecchini client who fits the codename much better.

I don't like lls, but I am also not sure about the whole business of hiring a rider who had been mentioned in connection with doping before, extending his contract til 2015 and then being up in arms when new information may come out,

yes, the team future and image is important right now, but still I don't like it.

according to the NRC article, LLS has been interrogated by his team and has denied any involvment, but 'sources' in Spain confirm that LLS went by the codename Huerta.

I like how there appear to be 'sources' in Spain with Puerto-related intel and willingness to speak to the press.

of course not, poor management, but as they say you can't change the past. I would very much support a hardliner approach at Blanco moving forward.

It could very well be that the people who are up in arms didn't make the decision to extend his contract. When Mark Renshaw came to Rabobank that decision was made by the management of the team (Knebel), none of the sports directors of the team knew he was comming, or were even asked if they wanted him to come to the team. I wouldn't be surprised if the extension of his contract was done by people who aren't active in the team any more (Knebel, Breukink, Van Houwelingen).

Wow, but who is covering up the story during so many years? It is astonishing. Anyways 'Huerta' allows to hope oneday we will know all Puerto guys' names and they will be punished regardless of their palmares.

explains how lls has faded into a rider that can't climb for the life of him.
