Regardless of the forecast I would be very, very surprised to see no more echelons. It doesn't take much in Qatar.

Another good result for BMC. Bookwalter and/or one of the other riders looking good for the overall.

Since you seem to have money on Kristoff you might be interested in knowing that he's slightly ill and is on antibiotics. So I wouldn't expect him to do particularly well.

Are there any live updates for this race, perhaps a twitter account?

Not sure, however they are life videos from Al Jazeera. When they come up you can find them here - http://www.cyclingfans.com/node/6983.

Today's stage began jsut seconds ago, at 10:30 scheduled.

Thanks

Yeah, tv coverage starts 2 and a half hours in i.e. 1:00 pm CET. I was wondering if there are any live updates for those 2.5 hours starting about now.

is that the same info which was around ~2 or 3 days ago or are there any news about him? it said he was sick for two days, before the start of the race, and he would expect to improve every day. And regarding his performance on stage 1 and in the TTT yesterday I can clearly see him doing well today.

20kph winds apparently.

The Al Jazeera coverage seems to start earlier than that mirror site.
