Points on the Strade Bianchi

LightBing 45pts (Cancellara and Ponzi)
Caruut 41pts (Canc and Slagter)
10 teams 36 pts (Cancellara)
Just some guy 33 pts (Van Avermaet and Slagter)
Geraint too fast 28 pts (GvA)

No more than 12 points for anyone else.
(I can only find the first 19 finishers: there are 5 points for whichever Astana guy came 20th, but I don't think it was Gasparotto who is the only one that might affect our table.)
Edit: It was Aru, not in any team here

Roma maximised gains for some teams (Did you see what I did there?)

120 each for LightBing and Sublimit (Pozzato, Bole and Ponzi)
80 for Will10 (Pozzato and Ponzi)
58 for DJ Sprtsch (Pozzato and Cherel)
48 for the other 25 teams to include Pozzato
no other minor points earned.

Not a bad weekend considering i don't have too many hilly riders in my team.

Pippo 48 pts from Roma Maxima and Iglinsky 7 from Strade Bianchi.

Thanks armchair.

So now the initial skirmish is over and we wait two weeks for the battle to resume with 38 of the 41 teams having scored at least 48 points (Pozzato) and no-one one more than 201.

I think that the remaining races will see tonnes of points scored as most teams are aiming to 'peak' for MSR, the cobbled classics and the Ardennes.

Cheers Armchair. I dont think I've ever lead one of these CQ things.. might have to print this page off and frame it because it will probably end in tears for me eventually.
