I'm in Italy at the moment working with some young riders for 2010. When I get back my Hotel I'll post up the page number etc.

Page 58, its a little tidbit in the article on Contador in the Top 50 list and it says "apparently Lance crowed..............".

I have had my fair share of involvement in Lance threads but an just totally fed up with them now. Give Lance his own sction in the forum where he can be discussed ad infitum.

Maybe a more interesting topic would be to discuss the ProCycling Top 50 or even have our own list.

BTW, They have Cav at No 1 ahead of Contador and EBH.

Hog cites his source so all we have to do is go to the latest ProCycling and verify it. Now if he had just simply said "I read somewhere" without saying where, then we could truly question its validity.

Well, here is the Top 20 on their list,

1/Cavendish
2/Contador
3/EBH
4/A.Schleck
5/Evans
6/Gilbert
7/Greipel
8/Farrar
9/Lance
10/Valverde
11/Hushovd
12/Cancellara
13/Haussler
14/Menchov
15/T.Martin
16/Pellizotti
17/Gerrans
18/Ivanov
19/Kloeden
20/Wiggins

They admitted if No 9 had been any other rider, he would barely have made Top 25.

I definitely think Vlaverde should be much higher regardless of his doping links.
Vuelta, Dauphine, Catalonia, Burgos. C'mon Farrar and Greipel winning a load of sprints is not in the same league at all.

10/Valverde - admitedly should be higher
11/Hushovd
12/Cancellara - definately should be higher
13/Haussler
14/Menchov - giro, not much else, but you would think a gt would help
15/T.Martin
16/Pellizotti
17/Gerrans
18/Ivanov
19/Kloeden - why?
20/Wiggins

Thanks. That was rather a big piece. Never thought it would be in amongst that lot.
Anyhow, pmcg has now confirmed.
Have to say I think this behaviour appalling, but I'm not surprised.
Consistent with other sources, at other times.

Before Sprocket calls it tittle tattle, again.
Pro Cycling is as reputable a source as we are ever likely to get.

Well firstly valverde should be at least #5, lance should be behind menchov at least, winning worlds shouldn't put cadel at 5 and I do agree with cavendish being #1,
