I don't think the tactics will be different. Its like a robot. Drive the train forward, shell as many as possible. Continue next day.

They may try this but it would be so unwise against the big two. If Andy is at all fit, and unlike many others on here, I fully expect him to be, Sky will only be putting Froome in an exposed position against them and their teams. The Vuelta should be ringing alarm bells for this tactiic.

Vuelta should be ringing bells but I saw no change in ORR or WRR. They think they can burn anyone off. Well that worked with Nibali, JVDB and Evans. It won't work with Andy and Alberto especially if they go together! If Froome goes with them he will be isolated against the 2 best climbers in the world. Flo that is why you should wish good things for Andy if for no other reason

The Vuelta meant nothing for Frooooome. He is after the big price. However I do concur Contador and Schleck will provide more than enough competition.

Andy's current situation is even worse than I have ever thought- just the fact that his very own DS is calling him out in public to acknowledge the lack of motivation & fitness to even "ride & train"-let alone compete- damn he's in deep sh!t indeed.....

What to believe???

Out of shape and unmotivated
Sick
Hissy fit

From the link above:

But get this - I texted Edvald Boasson Hagen to see what the real story was and he told me that Schleck wasn't sick at all in France. Apparently he just needs some more miles in his legs before he hits good form and the other guys in the peloton were teasing him about how he couldn't take a turn up the front. They ended calling him Frank all day and he pretty much chucked a massive hissy fit and quit the race. I love being 'in' with the top pros and getting all the gossip.

The key to that paragraph is the last word.
Also a real jerk move by the guys in the peloton teasing him. I wish I knew which riders were doing that, I'd never be cheering for them again.
