Pandering to the far right to stave off Gingrich is apparently costing him the moderates. Don't see that changing in the general, as Romney has no other option than to go negative against Obama in the general.
Which leads to the epic quandary.... what are the fence-sitters to do? They don't like Obama either.

I get the feeling that if Obama said "the sky is blue" Issa and his fellow idiotic blowhards would launch an investigation to show that it's green.

I know it's mainly political grandstanding, but just shows once again the degree to which Congressional Rs put politics and ideology ahead of the good of the country.

But Obama's in the position now where he can run a mix of positive and negative whereas Romney has no choice but to go full-on negative.

Positive? About what?

"It would have been worse under the other guy" is not much of a campaign slogan.

The real numbers are gonna get exposed. Debt, Deficit, Unemployment, GDP, Poverty, etc.

I don't see much Obama can brag about with the possible exception of him being the only candidate that's not Mormon. But I don't think that's gonna play.

He probably can't run on anything that would sway your vote, but ending the Iraq war, passing healthcare reform, net increase in jobs every month since March 2010, saving GM etc., should appeal liberals and many independents.

Polls still show Gingrich up nationally. Maybe Romney can get a boost from Florida though.

Hes also got Nevada next where he should do well because he won it vs Mccain last time, and maybe hell get another small boost from there into MN MO and CO a week today.

Obama already bringing in 3 times as much money as Romney.

Romeny is just going to be another Bob Dole. Fighting for his 15 minutes.
