There is another similar game available http://www.facebook.com/cyclomania2012. It is in portuguese (click on the "Events" bar of the page). You can choose 10 riders with a limited budget for the Pro Tour Calendar. It looks interesting...

Yes, I don't want to say too much before Hugo posts his update, but there certainly were a lot of points all around. A certain prominent individual actually dropped 12 places despite scoring 934 points.

Update 12: history repeats itself...

...because Mellow Velo is still our leader, and this week he extends his lead as he puts 200 points into his nearest competitor, EvansIsTheBest, and now leads with more than 350 points.
We have three new teams in the top 10 this week: lancaster, who's also one of this weeks highest scorers, shalgo and Gotland, while we lose Skibby the bush kangaroo who falls from 3rd to 20th, SantiBotero who moves from 7th to 19th and Netserk who swaps his 10th place with a 17th.

It was a pretty crazy week with people scoring an insane amount of points. Popchu, who earns the honour of being this weeks high scorer, scored almost 20% of his 7500 points in a single week. It's not that surprising though when you have all of Uran, Van Den Broeck, Boonen, Pozzato, Rogers and Breschel in your team.

DJ Sprtsch continues his great run as he's, for the second week in a row, among this weeks high jumpers, moving up 34 places. This means that he's now moved 59 places in two weeks.

Top 10:

1. (1) Mellow Velo - 4879
2. (2) EvansIsTheBest - 4521
3. (6) AntonioRossi - 4319
4. (19) lancaster - 4294
5. (9) hrotha - 4161
6. (5) TeoSheva - 4157
7. (12) shalgo - 4144
8. (8) skidmark - 4076
9. (26) Gotland - 4070
10. (4) jancouver - 4042

This weeks high scorers:

1. Popchu - 1492
2. lancaster - 1491
3. Gotland - 1378
4. ansimi - 1352
5. Armchair Cyclist - 1328

This weeks high jumpers:

1. The Amateur +37
2. DJ Sprtsch +34
2. 18-Valve. (pithy) +34
4. ansimi +32
4. Eric8-A +32

A few things...:

1) I climbed 14 places from 125th to 111th place.
2) I scored 15 points more than I had calculated.
3) I've got my first two riders into profit. (Boonen & Breschel)

Overall I'm really happy that I actually climbed some places because my score wasn't that high compared to others (896p).

Also I don't mind staying in the bottom because then I don't have to worry about dropping a lot of places.

After the big post-Tirreno fall from 11th to the 25th place i managed to climb 4 places back to the 21st with big expectations to get some good points from Kwiatkowski in the De Panne. Seeing him in the classics it was fair expectation but this time he got ill and it seems that with such luck Michal gonna be a Breschel-like pick for the next year's game

High scorer! I hope to continue it this week, and it started good with TT-specialists Hoste, Devolder and Ignatiev in the first group at De Panne.
