People should really understand that that "beer gut" they always notice on Cav is just because the way he breathes. It's been said hundreds of times already. When you're fat, well, you don't win races. ( I'm not a Cav fan btw, I do think that he's the best at what he does, only what he does is boring.)

Indeed. And a white jersey accentuates this "beer gut". Look at Wiggo, who has the same, and I doubt anyone would argue that guy is overweight?

The SKY rider signing in wears that helmet cover.. It looks ugly and today i don't see a use for it. Besides cover from seagull**** dropping from the SKY

So if Cav really is in his peak form, chances are he hangs on. In the immortal words of Jerry Horne, I'm depressed.

The way I see it only Canc / some other very strong rouleurs going full gas after the Poggio descent might be enough to force a selection. Not that I'm very optimistic, though.
