Default Lance conducts 24th doping control

That's right: 24 "random" doping controls, according to his Twitter account.

This time they took urine, blood, and hair samples.

This has to get tiring at some point, eh?

He annouced his comeback in September. So 24 tests means less than once a week on average.

Given he also announced he'd work with Don Catlin but later scrapped these plans, a once a week control should not be that tiring for someone used to training and racing in a gruelling sport.

I wonder how many doping controls other top riders have had to submit to so far this year. It seems the vampires are following Lance everywhere he goes, which I don't find entirely surprising, but still interesting.

His twittering has become tiresome.

As for dope testing; when was his first test, has he actually done 6 months of testing yet and why did he sack Catlin? - As above

Shogun, you do realise that those Twitter things could be made up? I mean, it's not as if he manipulates the media now is it?

I have an account specifically following pro riders only, so I will sometimes post any interesting tweets I come across.

Seeing how I wasn't born yesterday, of course I realize that his tweets could be made up.

However, considering they've followed riders on vacation across Europe, I really wouldn't be surprised if he has been tested that many times.

I find it amusing either way.

As an aside: Do the CN forums have its first official troll?

I think the reason he's giving so many samples for tests is b/c he's desperate to lose body mass before the Giro. Turns out Lance is a BIG dude when he's not on the cyclist/supermodel health regimen.

Oops. I should have clarified, Jarvis... I didn't mean you were the troll!
