Indeed it would be, but that's not what was said by the guy he was tweeting too.

This isn't the first time kittel has responded like this without actually having a clue what was said in full.

This issue isn't about making sure cycling is entertaining, it's about making sure it is a fair and equal sport. No matter how much entertainment a rider provides, it doesn't excuse them from any wrongdoing.

And by the way, This is coming from someone who doesn't think Contador should have been banned.
So you believe he did do the d-thing and you believe the entertainment he brings to the sport shouldn't excuse him from any wrongdoing but you do think he shouldn't have been banned

Did he not say that Saxo should get a WT licence because Contador alone is a much better rider than all those lame, pathetic schmucks at Argos?

I believe no rider should be excused from wrongdoing just because they provide exciting racing. But I don't believe Contador intentionally doped and I don't think it gave him that much benefit on tourmalet anyways.

We're getting into clinic stuff there though, so that's all I'll say on Contador's situation.

Probably part of the reason he responded has to do with their teams going after the same licence. After all, the two teams are engaged in a anti-doping battle to get that licence.
