lol @ UCI.

Katusha doesn't know why they are denied, but we tell everyone they got denied WT license and will inform Katusha later this week.

What a bunch of amateurish idiots sit at the office of the UCI.

This is terrible for Katusha, who have great structure, money of course and a good team. It must be doping related, but even if it could be JROD for example wouldn't riders like Menchov and Moreno still have enough points?

Vuelta certain, Giro probable, Spanish week calendar certain, Northern spring campaign - harmless, Tour - painful loss.
Although I'm not sure how ambitious they'd be in the Tour. Late stage, if nothing else.
Europcar, Cofidis and Saur are sure locks, but the 4th spot is available.

It's not like Katusha did good at Tour d'France in recent years, Menchov and Karpets were flops and the rest invisible.

They were removed because they were in the same races as Katusha, while basically being Katusha's feeder team. That's not allowed.

Why was Contador nervous then?

there is a big stretch when the team has the certainty to participate in all the Pro tour races rather than "wait & beg for an spot" to be part of them-letting alone that because of that "uncertainty"-the riders cannot schedule/prepare/train in advance for races until the get the green light.....

this is just awful

Haha my thoughts exactly. How can they deny Purito's team a WT spot? This is just comical.

Before making a raged comment, why not wait for a comment from the UCI....I'm interested in the reasons behind. Of course sporting-wise it is shocking...

I think Katusha will miss Paris-Roubaix, Ronde van Vlanderen and possibly Tour de France
