I thought it was more of a "stage" race? (maybe even a stage "race" or staged race).

Last year biciclismo carried live text so hopefully again.

Also, would be good to know who is actually riding rather than just having 12 man squad lists.

As the previous point made perfectly clear, the difference is Mallorca just lets teams ride as many people as they like, whereas other 'races' tend to conform to the standard number of riders for that category of race.
