Sounds more like crash/mechanical problems to me. There are only 4 corners, and his time is more than 20 seconds slower than last year.(with way worse form)

Yeah, he prolly hit the deck on that 180 degree corner. This eliminates him for the overall though, he isn't going to ride away from the likes of Quintana for instance.
