The stage finish on top of Monte Castrove is confirmed for last week's Thursday. After reading the names of the towns visited in the stage and connecting the dots... they'll climb the easy side. That's the same climb that featured in the 2012 ITT won by Kessiakoff.

How many pointless <500m finishes can a race have?

Acording to the link below, the stage after the second rest day will be on the northern coast of Galicia with the finish in Coruña. If the weekend before that second rest day is spent in the MTFs to Camperona, Covadonga and Farrapona and the race gets there from La Rioja and Cantabria, I can't see a stage on the roads of the WC circuit.

Why the hell would you need that Tony?

Belorado is my town, is the capital of la Riojilla burgalesa, but is Burgos, not the Rioja.

The stage is Belorado (Burgos)-Torrelavega (Cantabria), the city of Freire and Manolo Saiz.

So, Aralar, Torrelavega, Cistierna (La Camperona), Los Lagos, Farrapona. After that, Galicia.

So, a whole week in Galicia now? Come on guys, just organise your own race and stump up for 1 or 2 Vuelta stages. The Spanish calendar needs rebuilding.

The stage to San Miguel de Aralar is almost sure on Wednesday in the second week, and the stage from your home town to Torrelavega is on Friday. Guess where they'll be on Thursday

APM forum posts report that Diario de Navarra (I guess it's the printed edition, because there is nothing on its web site) also mention an ITT around Zaragoza on Tuesday.
