Any idea why JM is suffering so much this year? He came in 15 minutes down on Levi today.

Not a great result for somebody who is supposedly gonna rule the roads of France in less than 2 1/2 months.
I'd have to put his season so far somewhere between Contador and Wigans in terms of what he's shown.

I find it strange that the CN write up doesn't even mention him.

It's all about Levi...

Levi Leipheimer (Mellow Johnnyís) hasnít lost any form over the last year, which he proved as he took a second consecutive and equally convincing victory atop the steep Mogollon ascent.

Who wrote that? I was there at the finish. You can even see the results. Levi won by maybe 10 seconds, while he won by 49 last year. There are quite a few riders within striking distance.

I don't think Lance's result is much to worry about. He was 1:40 down last year, though he finished 7th then.

Levi looked strong though. I don't think he did any more than he had to do today. He's saving it for the TT and the final day.

Good, maybe they are finally getting it that some of us don't care.

Default ShowDown of the TdF Champs

Floyd finished ahead of Lance today.

When is the last time that happened on a MountainTop finish?

2006 TdF Champ 1........2005 TdF Champ 0

Can we have an update on the Tommy D Classification?

For our Dutch friends, de Maar finished 14th, (ahead of Floyd and his Lanceness).
