I love it. I love all the races and don't use them to stand out. :D

I predict my 10,000 in the giro when slagter takes pink ;)

i predict my 5,000 in LBL when rui costa wins it and the 10,000 by the vuelta when machado takes the red on the last itt ahead of contador

iirc i had around 200 posts during the volta ao algarve of last year so in a little less then 11 months i made around 3.4k posts which gives me an average of about 10ppd, but i haven't been posting a lot this off-season so i could have a greater post count :p

ACF meanwhile was on about 14 and now hes up to 16.5 so I guess he had to be doing 16-17 a day or some such..

Then theres the dark horse El Pistolero, who was just another occasional poster back in Novemeber or so last year, and now hes rocketed to a 5th in the all time standnings with 8000 posts, and 3rd ppd wise with 15.3

He also had an amazing 18 posts per day for the last month, while I only managed 12 and ACF 10.

You sure I was on 14? I am pretty sure my average was higher last year than it was this year.

I'm impressed. Mostly because Hitch started a full year after ACF94.

John Landy was the 2nd guy to run the 4 minute mile, and arguably could have been first, had he not looked over the wrong shoulder.

Some years ago Hillary revealed almost casually that he set foot on the summit of Everest before Norgay, simply because he led the last pitch. Someone later asked him if he was certain he touched the very tip top first, or if Norgay did. Hillary responded that was something he was not certain of. Both men have since passed away, so we'll never actually know.

Nice!

I am somewhat surprised (:D) the article didn't mention the most 'prolific' thread. We both would have been on the podium.

If we both got back all the posts we deleted from BoB, we both would definitely in the top 10:p

I'll try another question to gain this pathetic thread some attention :-)

With The Hitch being approximately 5,000 posts in arrears of Auscyclefan94 in the battle for most posts on the forum, but with him being a slightly more prolific poster; how long will it take him to catch the Australian? Will he ever do so? Since this issue has now been highlighted on the front page of this website, will Auscyclefan94 make even more posts about his beloved Cadel in order to retain his posting crown?
In top grade professional cycling (and in life) it is virtually impossible to be a major winner whilst being 100% clean (or honest). Most GC GT riders are simply doing what they love whilst playing the game.

I'm a huge Kloden fan (or a Klodist) - despite the fact that he rode for Telekom/T-Mobile, Astana and Radioshack :)

Contador at Fuente De - I salute you!

My post above (and the one that now kicks off this thread) have been thrown in from a previously very unpopular thread ;)

Congratulations to The Hitch on his big milestone, and like another poster said, for his quality as well as quantity.

As for my milestones; well, I see my 1,000th post being the creation of a new thread titled, Andreas Klodens Final Bid For A Coveted Top 100 Tour Finish, 2014.

Kudos to all posters who don't always take their posting too seriously.
