Haha who did he threaten to kill.

Isn't wallace the one who once said he would leave the forum after his 500 post, then left the forum for a year but came back.

Made some what I have to admit intelligent posts over the years, even if he also made many I didn't agree with. There was one from the 2010 Giro about ghost Coppi. In response to Hugo koblet. Back when CN forum really was a world of fun

I first read this as "a homeless dude from SoCal."

I first read this as "a homeless dude from SoCal."

Which is the same thing I did.

To be fair there are a large population of "homeless in SoCal".

Back in 2013 I had a 6 month "vacation" that I ended up using all my money traveling and seeing everything from Yosemite, Redwoods, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, entire lower half of Utah.....but while I was in Cali...from NoCal to SoCal....there were more homeless and hippy's than I have ever seen in my entire lifetime. It was surreal.

What has happened to Sniper ? I enjoyed his posts. Loved the way he dealt with those on the motor thread whose collective response seemed to be summarised as "la la la there are no motors in any bicycles, la la la I can't hear you, la la la Femke is the high priestess of motorised doping, la la la I can't hear you. la la la a car battery weighs and ton and where would you hide it, la la la I can't hear you."

He's been around, right now he's serving a short ban but he's still very active when he's not banned.

I enjoy reading Tom The Engine posts a lot more. They are actually nuanced and you can tell he knows a lot more on the topic than sniper does, fx.

I think he does, but you wouldn't think so. I think he as well is under the assumption that everyone is doping and using motors so actual evidence isn't needed. Reckless speculation on the other hand very much is.

Sniper just isn't convinced that the only person to try and use a motor is a Belgian junior. The rumours have been around for long enough to suggest he's right.

But who is convinced that the only person to try and use a motor is a Belgian junior?

As to sniper's stance, here's what he has to say on that:

I agree that in this day and age you probably cannot be in contention for a monument podium without a motor, maybe not even for a semi-classic.

Come on, that's a ridiculous statement. So last season you think that Demare, Swift, Roelandts, Hayman, Boonen, Stannard, Sagan, Cancellara, Vanmarcke, Poels, Albasini, Rui Costa, Chaves, Rosa, Uran - and a whole host of others that were in contention for those podiums and semi-classics - were probably riding with a motor?
yes.

This is not the place to take this discussion any further.

Please post comments in response to the appropriate topic.

Gillan1967 well done for digging that up.
Hilarious.

Walsh doing everything to safe face. Not gonna work.

you forget GW-501516 and lipotropin

it will be funnier when the knighthoods get revoked. if that is the technical name.

then can someone please do me a favour and bring me the justice of copying/quoting all the satire posts from blackcatthirdperson where they mentioned Gordonstoun muscular christianity oxbridge rowing boat races bullingdon club harrow etc.

Because when the satire was seen in the full light of day, the moderators would never have banned me for six freekin months when I was right all along, I brought the funnies and laffs[sic]

You were not banned for:
"satire posts from blackcatthirdperson where they mentioned Gordonstoun muscular christianity oxbridge rowing boat races bullingdon club harrow etc."
But you know this already.

Your ban was for repeatedly ignoring warnings and bans about posting crude, vulgar, NSFW, and pornographic comments that have since been mostly removed.

Asking members to aggregate your comments to prove that you've been treated unfairly will not show the actual posts that you were banned for, but you know that too.

If you have a gripe or concern about being banned for six months you can post it in the "members suspension appreciation/depreciation" thread. Posting about your ban in threads other than the members app/dep thread is not permitted, per forum policy.

come on ID, I got banned because a cadre of fellow travellers reported every post I made and had a tin ear for satire and Wildean drollery. Brits! Brits with no humour gene.

The empire crew reported every post I made. I have never reported one off-colour post by anyone else.

My main aim, is to remove the muslin laid over the eyes where a non-positive piss test = clean. I seek to burn the emperor's clothes at the stake[sic/ intentional torturing metaphor].

We had it with USPS mkI at Daily Peloton with all the Lance homers. Now we have crossed the Atlantic.

I never made it personal, I sought to bring the funnies[sic].

If people thought I was malicious they have their wires crossed, I was never malicious. six months for being humorous.

actually, it was an inside joke by the delgados and I. nothing more.

I hate having caveats refraining from #Poe's_law.

see, even if it was serious-non serious. I would have taken it in the best manner. I know I rile folks. the delgados is not one of those.

I know folks report my posts, but I don't play be their rules. sorry.

I know I cause a headache for moderators. sorry also.

well why don't you mitigate your behaviour blackcat?

well, that aint the way I roll, and I reckon a profit-loss analysis make it worth accepting the few missteps I have made.
