Strava Power Estimates

I did a 13% average climb with no false flat for 26 minutes, how accurate are the power estimates on Strava for it, no tail wind either. I want to use the value to calculate my ftp

I can't say about Strava estimates but you can make a comparison with my own calculator here:

Thanks Alex, that gives pretty similar results to strava, at the steepness of the climb means most factors make only slight differences to power output.

Yes, as I demonstrated when you investigate the relative energy demand factors by gradient:

On steep terrain the estimates are not overly sensitive to errors in CdA or Crr.

That said, wind velocity assumptions at rider height is where more significant errors can creep in.
