while race organisers are struggling to accept major changes to the calendar that could result in races losing WorldTour status to make space for new, innovative race formats that generate better income

new, innovative race formats that generate more income are NOT a fact. But pure speculation.

You've done it again... from the Pais Vasco startlist:

1 Rafal Majka (Pol)
2 Eduard Alexander Beltran (Col)
3 Robert Kiserlovski (Cro)
4 Evgeny Petrov (Rus)
5 Bruno Pires (Por)
6 Pawel Poljanski (Pol)
7 Nicki Sørensen (Den)
8 Oliver Zaugg (Swi)

Wrong Sørensen.

According to http://www.cyclingnews.com/features/10-memorable-moments-from-10-years-of-tour-of-california Wiggins did a 12.5 mile TT in under 15 minutes. No wonder he feels confident about the hour record. (wikipedia says it was 23' 18")

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/video-crash-footage-of-the-cyclist-who-rode-into-the-giro-ditalia-peloton

"Fixed gear cyclist rides into the road as peloton passes at speed"

The guy is coasting as he comes in, hence the wheel is not fixed.

France-bound South Africans Reinhard Janse van Rensburg and Jacques Janse van Rensburg are not brothers, and it is a lazy ignorant assumption to state that they are. Very poor 'journalism', not surprising that no-one was willing to put their name to it.

On the article about Tinkov and the ASO, the last paragraph of Start a Revolution, you typed Riis instead of Rihs.

http://www.cyclingnews.com/tour-de-france/stage-19/results

Minor mistake, but I think Valgren would be rather sad being listed as a DNS after struggling for about an hour on the stage before stopping/being stopped.

Bauke Mollema (Trek), who was 7th and moved up to 8th on GC

Quite impressive to move up to 8th from 7th.

The caption for the first picture says it's Matti Breschel in the front, it's actually Michael Valgren. Besides; the picture isn't from the Tour of Denmark.

We also call it the Hill Competition due to a slight lack of mountains. :p

Results service from the Vuelta is very inaccurate. Jim was not 14th on stage 2, and certainly did not retain 14th after stage 3.
On stage 3, Oliveira and Reguigui were not in the top ten, but Richeze and Sbaragli were.

We all understand that the first released results are provisional and subject to correction, but news outlets that have a concern for accuracy respond to those corrections.

Plays havoc with trying to run the CQ game.

Also Niemiec DNFed on stage 2, not Koshevoy. However, it was Koshevoy who got second today (stage 7) no Richeze.

http://www.cyclingnews.com/vuelta-a-espana/stage-7/results/

Strangely enough you got it right in the race-report, it's just the result list that's a bit confused...

And it was Meintjes and not Jim who was ninth. At least that's what MTN is writing on their FB page, and I'm choosing to trust them a bit more than these result lists.
Please. Please. Please. Tell me it's some kind of find the mistakes game and you'll reveal the Winner at the end of the Vuelta.

While I'm glad you corrected your initial statement that Cousin was hit by a moto, you might want to get his first name right as well: it's "Jérôme", not "Antoine".

Is any editor of the website a regular reader of this thread, or are we announcing suggestions into a void?

Maybe someone does read this: the Vuelta results are, at last, somewhat related to reality. Thank you.

Discovered a rather consistent mistake. On the Tour of Britain startlist, and the subsequent result pages, Rasmus Guldhammer is referred to as Rasmus Guldhammer Pedersen.

http://www.cyclingnews.com/features/2015-tour-of-britain-start-list/

His actual name is Rasmus Guldhammer Poulsen.
Piece of advice; just drop the sen-name, nobody uses it anyway.

Rasmus Pedersen, the bronze medalist at the Junior Men's Road Race. Well... His name is actually Rasmus Lund.
