I'm so glad my favorite thread is still alive and well on CN! Still gives me a chuckle when I tell friends about it ["it's called The Latern Jaw and people basically just post pictures..."]

Anyway, I'm told that today's performance by Almaz Ayana, a new WR in the 10,000 meters, is the cycling equivalent of a rider taking 6 minutes off Pantani's 1997 37 minute time up Alpe d Huez ...

and... wait for it...she seems to have a LANTERN JAW.

What about The Bloated Face? I remember it was widely talked about and discussed here in the clinic. Some of the more notable cyclists were Ullrich. Granted, the guy was known grease up in the offseason and perhaps its genetics, but I always thought that was interesting thing to look at in various cyclists.

You don't actually know what a lantern jaw looks like do you?

Desperate Dan had a lantern jaw. There's about three people in this thread with one and the rest are the usual clinic smears accusing people of being on drugs because they've got pointy chins. Jimmy Hill and Bruce Forsyth were not on HGH.

The pronounced forehead brow is pretty severe too, can tell from a mile away. Hopefully it's reversible but what's done is done probably.

If they're that easy to spot, I'm sure you can provide some examples....

Your favourite thread deserves a bump after today's gazzetta dello sport.
