As for being escorted off premises by 'heavies'...i think you lot have watched too much Hollywood, it's usually just a run of the mill fellow employee who walks with you to make sure you clear your desk of your belongings but nothing belonging to the company.

Standard practice in well paying jobs.
Later reports corrected the notion that he was walked off the premises by heavies. The early reports - Mail or Express? - went for drama.

It's still a good story, to be fair.

I dont know how anybody can watch Salzwedel get kicked out and not wonder why someone as tainted as Keith Lambert is still there.

And what about Brian Stephens. It's hardly a secret that Brian (brother of Neil) was brought into BC on the recommendation of Salzwedel.

Also, has any journo tried to talk to Bill Mitchell? (see upthread)

And why was Sir Chris Hoy going to Salzwedel's home town Cottbus all the time to prepare for big races.

Many questions. The sports journos as per usual dont know where to look. Or simply prefer to keep the blinders on.

So you have concerns about Michael Matthews who has been coached by Brian Stephens.

Heiko Salzwedel has left his role as coach of Britain's men's endurance team, British Cycling has announced.

In a statement on Tuesday, British Cycling said he left "with the best wishes and thanks of everyone" at the organisation.
