Lilly King?!? Is this a joke??

Nope, but you could explain the joke.

The chances of Lilly King being clean are slim to none. Once you got to a certain level of pro sport, the inevitability of doping is quite great.

It digusts me how so many of these athletes especially from USA and UK act just so holier than thou.

Exactly what it is. Holier than thou. Not only are there double standards, but the fans are just as bad though. They feed off of that attitude and it's disgusting. They rip on the Russians on Sunday mornings, then they turn on their tele in the afternoon/evening and watch the steroid pumped NFL players knock each other down for four quarters.

Where is the double standards with King when she has mentioned US athletes too.

Great reading the guys at swimvortex. Delighted that Morozov didn't win a medal here.

hello guys! I am new here and I wanna tell you one story. My friend is the famous para swimmer in Europe. He is invalid after Chernobyl accident in 80s. Then he was just a child and very young. His father died after the dose of radiating and Mom is very sick now. They live in Russia not far from Moscow. Why I tell it? I mean when people want to live they do everything for it. Not long time ago I visited him and we also went to the Prypyat for getting excursion .He even has shown me his house. It's really terrible. But the the trip was breathtaking. I even rethink the goals in my life.

Will Russia and the Fancy Bears crowd say anything about this, Efimova and her "legal doping" for this TUE for allergies back in London 2012.

Pasting this from the Fancy Bears thread where I posted just a few minutes ago:

The Russian version, for anyone that's interested. Essentially the same information as the link above.

Michael Phelps: 'I've never competed in a clean field'

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=11810278

"For us, sometimes it's annoying when we get woken up at 6 o'clock in the morning but, you know what, I'll do that to make sure that we're all competing at a fair level," Phelps said after the hearing. "I wish I could say that about everybody else in the world."

Tygart called that "unacceptable" and said it's a result of what happens when sports are allowed to police themselves.

I love Phelps and he may even be clean - But loses credibility when he states he's never swam in a drug free race ( so far so good ) but then states he knows all USA swimmers are drug free.

Rival to Michael Phelps: You're not a cheat but...

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=11811085

"Doping has been a problem and it's only getting worse. I, too, don't know what to tell my son, nor would I wish that my son ever be half as good as I was knowing what he'll face tomorrow," Cavic wrote in an open letter posted on his Twitter account.

"I could recall Lance Armstrong getting tested 3x in one day, and never failed once, but that's not the problem. At the moment, we're not able to detect new drugs and advanced methods of doping. Why you're seeking reform now that you're retired, and never before supported blood passports, is beyond all of us, perhaps even convenient.

I'm not suggesting you're a cheat, you've gradually improved your times throughout your career, but your recovery rate is nothing short of science fiction....We all just wish we could understand it. Anyway, I really do hop that you'll sticks with this because in case our sons go pro some day, I;d like to think you made a difference. #nevertoolate"

Here is Cavic's tweet that shows the entire message to Phelps.

https://twitter.com/Milorad_Cavic/status/837326110853562368

Once I finished reading it, I quickly went to see the replies, and not surprisingly some very triggered Phelps/USA fans on there, calling Cavic "bitter" and "sore loser..." I don't need to rehash everything that was written, but you can all imagine. Was never a fan of the guy, though I was cheering for him to beat Phelps in Beijing and stick it to the US media, but he didn't quite manage it.

There is only one way he can be 100% certain about this, is it not? :)

Hey - Use the full quote and not part of the quote - Otherwise it gives my post a different meaning.

Adam Peaty breaks his own world record twice in one day (including being the only person ever to go sub 26s for 50M) and is on track to break 57 seconds for 100M breast stroke soon.

Thank heavens they got rid of those super suits that gave such a huge performance advantage.
It would be like watching motorised bikes zipping up alpine climbs.

Katie Ledecky- absolutely crazy performances yet again. Not even worth running the races she just freaking annihilates the field without even looking remotely tired afterwards. One of the most suspicious athletes currently competing in any sport.

She maybe doping and her performances might be suspicious but there's no denying the immense talent she has.

At the age of 15, she won the 800 m Gold at the Beijing Olympics. Not only that but she has annihilated record after record since High School. She will most probably become the most decorated female olympian in the history of Olympic Sport.
