not one post about ibarugren today.

thousands of posts about ibarguren and both Boonen and Gilbert who both were already strongest cyclist in the world without our spanish friend but nothing about the dutch average pistier who became a double monument winner unfortunately.

Some of the Ibarguren highlights in QS (he has plenty other highlights like in Lotto, Lampre and Saunier Duval):

Gilbert's best years coincide with Ibarguren for some reason
Boonen's ridiculous jump in 2012 when he came on the board, he regressed after 2012, but that's due to him almost losing his arm because of an infection in 2013 winter, and being old since then.
Terpstra in general as OP mentioned, particularly this year and 2014 Roubaix. To be fair. the whole team was a mission on that day to avenge their failure in cobbled classics in that year.
The great 2014 Giro TT, where 4 guys where in top 8 and Brambilla out of all people finished 5th.
Alaphilippe, the goat climber which can drop guys like Henao on mountains while not finishing top 50 in any mountain stage before
Kwiatkowski's ridiculous 2014 season, but he seems to find his groove with the swimming coach after a lackluster 2016

To be fair, they always manage to fly under the radar, as they don't have a tier 1 GT guy on their roster, or someone like Valverde. And, their strength usually lies in outnumbering anyone instead of crushing people like Cancellara or Froome, so they don't get that much attention compared to these guys.

The other doctor feelgood with Quickstep, Yvan Vanmol, former Mapei and wherever Lefevere went, maybe deserves more attention. Terpstra says Vanmol's excellent advice to drop one kilo was instrumental in his success. Here, one of Lefevere/Vanmol great successes:

Vanmol's other self-described greatest success was to stop the possible transfer of Riccò to QuickStep :D

You're right, why not start a Vanmol dedicated Clinic thread - he totally seems shady enough to merit one, and according to the journalists, Vanmol for sure knows about some hardcore stuff that he is still not telling
