Because parties are lost..you think Idaho voted for health care because of party? You think droves of Republicans are voting to discontinue union rights.? Or that ex auto workers are aware that they are voting against themselves?
Deportation or border walls..? Do people know where Obama stood on either? Look out if you look it up..just like everything else..family,education, deportation, basketball, executive orders..
Obama was way way better than Trump..he deported more people than junior Bush could have imagined. Obama was a turbo deporter ..
Trump asked for all this..he had his son say.. "Bring it on!!!" and they have..he has said over and over and over that nothing is wrong..but why are people pleading guilty?
And a huge puzzle..it is public knowledge that Obama told Trump point blank not to hire Flynn..

Almost all the public figures that make up the so called "IDW", now being dismissed as fascists for standing up for free speech, never voted republican in their life.

Whatever your obsession my man, I’ve never called anyone a fascist in my life. Nor did I mention it. You got more game in you in you, or is this tender little bruise the best there is?

Did you read the article I responded to?

Cyberlife creates the illusion of left-wing excess and dominance that does not exist in meatspace, at least not outside of a few colleges you've never heard of. Conversely I wonder if the deep irony of IDW celebrities talking to packed theatres and arenas about being no-platformed is lost on the audience?

The irony is certainly lost on the pundits:

"Before Jordan Peterson became an international sensation, he battled (at great professional risk) for free speech in Canada"

https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/05/intellectual-dark-web-meaning-audience/

....and has paid for it by remaining a professor and supplementing his salary with $80,000 a month fan subscriptions, as well as lucrative speaking tours.

This is all symptomatic of the pundit class and their distractions at large: wasting days niggling over fascism, Islamophobia and speech rather than the situations such debates are serving.

Right on cue, Owen Jones, social justice warrior pundit-in-chief, with the debate that nobody really wants:

Macbindle, your article is stale before it's out of the bag..most of the partisan proposal that AOC put forth will not be considered. She and two other freshmen are being signaled to sit down, slow down and mostly shut up. Our first Muslim female already w w hard head punch, she spoke and tweeted things that were considered anti Semitic, she was asked to apologize and she did. AOC in her rush to make a splash is far far too exposed. She like Trump, is acting and talking like an old pro, in true, fake it until you make it fashion. It may work but probably not.
You have also seen Trump clamp on to buzzwords that cross over from his base, socialism being the most prominent. AOC needs to keep in mind that her videos, like those videos of Trump that have been masterfully edited may make her look just like Trump would want her to, like an overly simplistic and enthusiast teenager.@70% tax, entitlement massive and expensive makeovers and some acceptance and practice of socialism are gold for Donald.
The Democrats better run not walk to the center and stop spending all this precious time on the far left..If AOC, anti Semitic BS, and countless hours protecting and talking about illegal immigrants are what they are banking on the ship is sinking in port.
Middle America felt ignored and I don't see were the Democrats have acknowledged that and are working to make sure that doesn't happen again in 2020.if you think construction farmers, rednecks and lots of middle America find AOC a charmer..nfw

I've decided to fly over to see Sam Harris on one of his theatre shows. There are quite a few to choose from, but I'm picking Boston because they talk funny.

The Boston show is in a 1600 seat theatre, and with tickets starting at $45 a full house at this price one night would only net $72,000.

But seats aren't all $45. Those are the cheapest seats. I don't do cheap. I'm going for the Orchestra pit and the VIP Meet and Greet Sam Harris package for only $274.

It sounds like a lot, I know, but you cant put a price on free speech

So you can talk about blacks being genetically dimmer than whites, but you can't talk about US support for an illegal occupation and ethnic cleansing.

I see you’re getting the hang of it. Also fair to talk about corporate handouts, but not “socialism.”

Capitalism is not the issue, it’s the current profit drivers and where the money goes.

Yes, let's act like private citizens discussing an issue in depth is the same as a politician tweeting sound bites, and that both are equally appropriate to their roles.

And let's act like Murray's book only dealt with blacks and whites, and doesn't discuss East Asians testing better than everyone, other races, etc. No problem with the idea that East Asians are smarter than everyone? Nah, guess that doesn't flip the right switches.

Let me know when you find a post of mine telling people what they can't talk about.

The King of Debt hits an all-time high -
https://www.newsmax.com/finance/streettalk/national-debt-record-22-trillion-dollars/2019/02/12/id/902424/
The national debt has passed a new milestone, topping $22 trillion for the first time.

The debt figure has been rising at a faster pace following passage of Trump's $1.5 trillion tax cut in December 2017 and action by Congress last year to increase spending on domestic and military programs.

Michael Peterson, head of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, says "our growing national debt matters because it threatens the economic future of every American."

"Are you going to believe me or what you see with your own eyes?"

I’ll take this one Bob for $200. What do I win? Are you kidding? Every third post of yours is about the appropriate context for discourse rather than the actual subject matter.

A bit too much mediation and too little substance.

( And a little aside while we’re on the topic of boutique left-speak and delicate subjects
“Billionaire former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz...finds the term “billionaire” to be a micro-aggression of sorts (he prefers “person of means”).....

Starbucks having paved the way for microaggressions, I guess Schultz would know.)
