just saw Susan's post, and did not expect that, nor the reaction I've just had to it.
shock, deep sadness, disappointment, etc... but reminded of the Tibetan philosophy of not to be saddened when your cup gets broken, but to rejoice in all that the cup gave you in it's time.
seems to fit nicely with our experiences with Krebs...

Stepford Wives ...
http://www.scmp.com/news/world/article/2149321/new-report-finds-no-evidence-having-sex-robots-healthy
Sex sells, and robots are no exception. One of the most expensive consumer robots under development, a machine named Harmony, is a US$15,000 union of silicone curves and silicon chips. Part of an estimated US$30 billion industry, Harmony has software that remembers birthdays and can quote Shakespeare. Harmony is also equipped for intimate human-robot relations. Sex doll maker Realbotix, in its marketing materials, bills Harmony as “the perfect companion.”
...
In an interview published last year, Douglas Hines, chief executive of interactive sex doll maker TrueCompanion, told the Foundation for Responsible Robotics: “Roxxxy, our sex robot, provides what every adult needs – unconditional love and support. The ability to feel the loving embrace of a lover is a right every adult should be granted. We provide a solution to help adults meet their social as well as sexual needs.”
"Are you going to believe me or what you see with your own eyes?"

“It doesn’t matter what I do. People need to hear what I have to say. There’s no one else who can say what I can say. It doesn’t matter what I live.”
