Oh right, it's time to list our riders who are starting! Love this time of year:

TdU

Ramunas Navardauskas
Sam Oomen
Pierre Latour
Ruben Fernandez
Enric Mas
Owain Doull

Interesting lineup! I just spilled a bunch of virtual ink on how much I like Oomen in every stage race this year, so I'm expecting top 15 from him even if he's not in great form. I know Fernandez is targeting this race, so top 5-10 is definitely possible. I don't know what kind of shape Latour or Mas is in, but on the balance of things I'd expect them to be up there as well. Navardauskas and Doull I'm not expecting things from here. Good lineup overall; would be even better if Halvorsen didn't get injured. At least if he had to get injured, it was now instead of any other time in the season. Hopefully he'll be back in time for the classic season.

Yes, Damn. I was really hoping to see how he did in this race.

My riders at the TDU:
Ben O'Connor
Logan Owen
Owain Doull
Marc Soler
Ruben Fernandez
Jasha Sutterlin
Jaime Castrillo

Since I have half of Movistar's team I expect some points for this. Fernandez likes this race and is targeting it. He's also race leader. Sutterlin and Barbero are their sprinters, so I expect some sprint stage points from Sutterlin. Soler has proven he can get high placings while working for a race leader.

Porte - He better score
Davies
Debusschere - not expecting, unless Greipel gets stuck
Owen - curious to watch him, but expecting nothing
Navardauskas
Renshaw - I could see him getting some points

Looks like CQ made the decision not to have an update spreadsheet that only included the results from 2 stages of a 2.2 race; makes sense. Update #2 to come next week after the TdU!

Uh oh, Navardauskas looking strong today. Stirling could be just his thing.

Weird, I was like 90% sure I had Navardauskas but apparently I don't? That's ****. So my riders for TDU are:
EWAN Caleb
SLAGTER Tom-Jelte
MAS NICOLAU Enric
BAUHAUS Phil
KENNAUGH Peter
MONTAGUTI Matteo

Not bad I guess, Navardauskas I feel bad about :(

I know how you feel. Start of the season and he's already finishing 4th in a stage.
4th from the bottom of the rankings of course :D

He pulled the bunch for quite some time.

I still have Oomen, Latour and Mas without significant time loss :) maybe 1 can end up in top-10.

Probably not going to score many points but good to see Dlamini making a show. Bodes well.

Pretty happy about my rarest pick that is in the TDU and one that I was really insecure about. Phil Bauhaus showing that will be the main sprinter for sunweb and can score big this season

At least he showed that he's their main sprinter for Tour Down Under :)

Yep. Arndt and Matthews will play lead roles a plenty....especially Matthews of course. Even Theuns will lead in certain races.

Yes I tottaly forgot that Matthews was sunweb :) , but of the other two I think that neither arndt or theuns for a typical bunch flat sprint finish can perform as good as Bauhaus

Let's not forget Walscheid - though he is kinda hit-or-miss and Bauhaus is more consistent (these days)

Jaime Castrillo may not score many points, but he showed he was there on stage two as a rookie. Nice to see him get out in the break and win the combative award in his first race for Movistar.
