210/300.
Again I don't feel overly bad. There where multiple names I was saying out loud to myself...I just couldn't spell them.

275 out of 300 stage wins- very bad with some of the smaller riders and didn't know 2010 that well but I had only 6 that i didn't know so i was quite lucky. I got all of 2014 correct :)
Not enough time to spend on the 2012/13 Giro though:(

116/150 for the CQ from 1999- 2013- stupidly forgot that Porte had a great 2013. Didn't consider Rebellin at all. Also i forgot about Greipel. Also i'd spelt Ullrich wrong so should get an extra 3.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong

The Grand Boucle wasn't just Europe's for the taking.

I'm really bad at quizzes, i had to think for a minute to come up with the name of Ballan . Winner of RVV, riding for Lampre, Cunego second, Breschel third ... but what was that guy's name again. I have a photographic memory (i hope) :p.

I had a similar with the 1997 winner. Could picture him in at least three teams but could not remember his name within the 15 minute limit. Only one I missed since 1991, but overall score still less than 50:o

I took a few of the tests today and I didn't fail miserably. I'm going to give my score and impressions on the different tests so if you want to avoid spoilers, I suggest you don't read the rest of this post.

15/15, i like a quiz where i dont have to think too much :D

15/15 also. Would have been more fun without the nationalities to help.

57/80. Really disappointed that I missed a few I really shouldn't have (eg : Coppi :o).

Concerning the last series of tests that pigoonse posted :
34/50 for the sprinters. I missed a few obvious one. The "ATM" in the title can be a bit confusing since a couple of the sprinters haven't performed in years. Also, how can Spilak make the list and not Boonen, it makes no sense :D My advice, don't be afraid to go for punchy riders that can also sprint.

For the cols, I got 12/24 including all those the TDF has ridden at least 40 times. Clearly, the hardest test of the list.

143 out of 150 for the cq one. I guess I spend too much time on cq building fantasy teams :p I'm happy I got the one that the most people forget.

For the classics, I scored 8/9 but I just missed the last one because whatever I tried I couldn't get the spelling right.

What do you remember of last season? ;)

It looks easy on paper, but I bet you will forget some riders.

Again, I don't think you get 100% on this quiz. Do you remember for instance who was second in Plouay?
Sorry for a little bump, but I wanted to share again this game.

The same as last year, only now for the 2015 CQ Ranking: http://www.sporcle.com/games/HeiligeGraal/cq-ranking-2015-cycling! Again some riders you'll easily forget. :)

Damn, this was harder han I thought. Only managed 68 in the 15 minutes available. Could have had a few more due to misspellings. At least I got top 21 right :p

70/100... Oh well.
Tried going by order until I reached the 20es, then I gave up and just started guessing wildly, except I still forgot a lot of names...

288/300.

I somehow missed Bennati as the only multiple winner, and I failed to spell De Clercq.

Elsewhere, I missed some random French riders and some Farnese Vini/Androni ones.

This was tough! I got 86/100. I balked when it was a slate of "LTS/BEL", "LAM/ITA" and "MOV/SPA" riders staring me down. Thanks for bumping this, these games are fun.

edit: and 53/80 on the rainbow jersey one... man there are some obscure guys that won that race!

Yeah. I basically went through it like "Adam's the one with [blank]! Adam's the one with [blank]! Adam's the one with [blank]! That's definitely Sean Yates and... that's a building!"

I love cycling!
I have been cycling for many years.
But, I'm sorry I'm unaware of so many professional cyclists but only a few! I'm failed! :(

It's just about having fun.

Here are a few others.

WT riders 2017 part I

And part II

WT riders nationality 2017 (clicky-quiz)

https://www.sporcle.com/games/Viktrodriguez/uciwtcountries

(Okay, this is just as much a geography knowdledge quiz. It's one thing to know there are Eritrean riders on the WT, if you can't find Eritrea on the map it doesn't help much...)
