Still, i was thinking someone with (Quintana-Froome) would win or someone with (Contador-Froome), depending on which one did better: Quintana or Contador. A lot can happen, but I place my bets on you!

The two leaders again move farther ahead of the rest: a big leap by USPostal to get back into the top ten.

There have been major changes in GC, and therefore in the projected points.
URAN URAN Rigoberto 205 10 teams
CONTADOR VELASCO Alberto 166 1 team

BARGUIL Warren -45 12 teams

The rider who defined the leading teams yesterday has lost 70% of his projected points, so many points shed: those who remain in the black today are for the most part those with Uran.

Los Brolin now leads both tables, while the only team to include Contador is now 6th, possibly with many 18 point red jersey daily bonuses to come. Five new teams in the top ten, who have risen by an average of 19 places: indeed, the average positional change is 13 places, the extremes being LightBing's 31 place leap from 45th to 14th, and BicycleBoy's plummet from 18th down 26 places to 44th.

Another GT where my main bet crashed. At least he hasn't quit the race yet.

Edit: Nairo crashed and abandoned.
(at least he didnt abandon in stage 1)

What is it with the high priced guys I pick crashing out? First Contador in the Tour and now Nairo. Hopefully someday the picking the high priced guys strategy will work for me.

Maybe it's a good think I went with Quintana-Froome instead of Quintana-Contador. :o

Quintana out means I'll go up a few places. Now all I need is my picks to deliver, starting with Urán.

The three teams lined up behind Los Brolin all overtake him to take over the podium positions. Trudgin makes the biggest progess (20 places), while among the tumbling Quintana teams, LiamP falls farthest (19 spots).

Yesterday I still had some hopes, like Quintana still climbing up some places to only increase my amount of points, but no. Extra-sad because I guess I'm losing my overall-ranking first place to Hugo87 here.

Stage 12
About as much excitement in the tables as there was on the stage.

Guaranteed

DEGENKOLB John 70 0 teams
BOONEN Tom 40 0 teams
GUARNIERI Jacopo 25 2
CONTADOR VELASCO Alberto 18 1 team
SAGAN Peter 15 0 teams
RICHEZE ARAQUISTAIN Ariel Maximiliano 10 2 teams
MARTINEZ Yannick 7 0 teams
MONDORY Lloyd 5 1 teams
CANCELLARA Fabian 3 0 teams
STUYVEN Jasper 2 0 teams
BOIVIN Guillaume 1 2 teams

1 L29205 25 (from 32nd to 27th)
1 Oliveira 25 (stays 6th)
3 Hugo87 18 (from 34th to 32nd)
4 Crevaison 10 (from 29th to 24th)
4 Mellow_Velo 10 (from 48th to 41st)
6 Roude_Leiw 5 (from 39th to 36th)
7 Handbrake 1 (stays 10th)
7 Search 1 (from 31st to 32nd)
9 Everyone else 0

Projected
Other than the above, the only points changes are the unchosen Stuyven getting 1 point that Uran (10 teams) loses for 10th place in the points rankings, and 5 teams that have Hesjedal losing 2 points to CA Sorensen (unselected) for a swap of 33rd and 34th on GC.

V little change in points or position: the slightly changed top 5 is
1 Diggercuz 1388
2 Oliveira 1326 (up from joint 4th with Los Brolin)
3 Leadbelly 1322
4 Ruvu75 1316
5 LosBrolin 1300

In changes of Hesjedal/Sorensen type significance, L29205 and JosephD swap 38th and 39th places, and Crevaison soars past Search to claim the prestigious 43rd spot.

Yep, that really is as exciting as it got today.

Well my goal for this game was to sneak into the top 10. Very pleasantly surprised with the current situation.

Still, I am gutted Quintana retired. Anyway, now it's time for Aru to shine!

Projected points
NAVARRO GARCIA Daniel 70 26 teams
KELDERMAN Wilco 33 4 teams

MATTHEWS Michael -10 2

Few positional changes, so other than stage placings, withdrawals have the main impact.

Nah, hope is lost. :D

The objective now is to avoid being lanterne rouge. Thanfully there's Cineteq who played it clean, unlike his compatriot Hesjedal, to give me some competition. :p

Nope, most certainly not!

can only hope Ryder comes through with the win, certainly could use those points to regain what was lost in that very very poor performance yesterday...

Stage 14
The GC shake up will make more of a difference than stage points, but a nice bonus for a few teams there:
Guaranteed
HESJEDAL Ryder 70 5 teams
ZAUGG Oliver 40 1 teams
ERVITI OLLO Imanol 25 0 teams
CONTADOR VELASCO Alberto 18 1 teams
KOLOBNEV Alexandr 15 0 teams
MEINTJES Louis 10 3 teams
DE CLERCQ Bart 7 7 teams
SICARD Romain 5 2 teams
ARROYO DURAN David 3 2 teams
VERONA QUINTANILLA Carlos 2 2 teams
FROOME Chris 1 44 teams

1 Dazed_and_Confused 81 (Hesjedal, Meintjes, Froome)
2 AmisVelo 78 (Hesjedal, De Clercq, Froome)
3 Akuryo 72 (Hesjedal, Verona)
4= Diggercuz, Martyfulu 71 (Hesjedal, Froome)
6 LiamP 40 (Zaugg)
7 Hugo87 19 (Contador & Froome)
8= Fus87, Jakob747 11 (Meintjes, Froome)
10= 4 teams 8 (De Clercq, Froome)
15= 2 teams 7
17 Afrank 6
18 The_Sceptic 4
19 Trudgin 3
20= 30 teams 1

LosBrolin was one of the seven to draw a blank, but remains in front. AmisVelo, his closest challenger, is not a poster on either site but is a local contact of mine. Dazed and Confused re-enters the top ten with a large leap.

Hesjedal did his bit for you, but slips in GC from Samu, Chaves, Anacona and Niemiec mean that you fall 3 points short of regaining your lead.
