Looking good for Mellow, I suspect Rojas will grab some points from a break. But then again, Quintana will get his stage win. Close call between the two of them!

Although Chaves tried to close the gap between the top two, points dropped by Talanski, Dombroski, Quintana and Coppel swing the pendulum in MV's favour.

Projected points virtually certain now.
Most points are gained by overtaking Dumoulin
ARU Fabio 143 3 teams

Aru teams gain their reward, although Tuart demonstrates that the combined award of Plaza, Majka, Quintana and Arroyo is greater than that of Aru alone.

Final scores
What used to be projected points are now your final points, and today's changes can be described as the stage points above, a handful of GC place swaps in the 40s, and a change between two expensive riders that none of us selected at the top of the points classification. So let's just ignore any suggestion that daily gains and losses are relevant, and cut to our final rankings.

An interesting edition of our game, with leader's points being less of an issue, uncertainty as to whether the race winner might be someone omitted from all teams, the main investment for about half the teams failing on the first day, and a relatively inexpensive rider (Chaves) putting all 5 teams that included him into the top seven.

Congratulations to Mellow Velo, to Amis Velo for doing a Dumoulin and putting some pressure on the Aru teams, and to all other entrants.

Thanks very much for organising this, Armchair Cyclist.

The standard was very high. Considering that I had Chaves and Majka, yet didn't finish in the Top 3 shows how competitive the competition was.

In hindsight, TJ crashing out was my problem.
