That was the first time I really noticed how good of a rider Purito was.

He did race Zoncolan in that form, but he was more focused in toying with Nibali and let Antón win the stage

He's also got what looks about a 56 tooth large chainring and a 34 tooth cassette. Not sure exactly when some of those gear combinations are going to come in useful during a TT.

The Marseille ITT has a steep hill in it.

Aren't they just going around the football stadium? Are they climbing the stands or what?

Anyway, a 34 tooth cassette can never be #bikeporn in my book :) Maximum 25, and that's being generous.

Perhaps a 32; it's massive. Either way, huge chainring and large cassette combination looks bad. Especially on a TT bike.

Black socks are team issue, would you rather see him wear black shoes again? I don't want to see every post in this thread about his shoes like last year :o
We know from the GCN interview that his personal preference is white shoes with white socks :)

The combo looks good with the kit. The man looks good too!

Does Pinot's performance in the Giro give further credit to Contador's performance on stage 2 of Andalucia? Especially as Contador said he wasn't as good as last year? Feeling optimistic for July.

At first glance I think the back is a 27. He does have a pie plate on the front though.
