oscar pereiro on cocaine is my jam though.

I could imagine that he wasn't that interesting as well. That said I will for sure try to catch him sometime in the season, after all its Alberto and who knows, maybe he will be good at it. Then the next problem will be to try to understand him... I love me some spanish commentary though, I can't remember his name, but I have seen countless video from the Vuelta on YT. Juan, or Pedro Delgado?

Cool- but I imagine Alberto doing Eurosport "SPAIN" only- is that the case?

Not like there's no learning curve in that. Experts and former pro's are typically better as co commentators anyway. Especially in a sport like cycling.

I seem to remember Alberto doing some commentary for RTE during La Vuelta 2011, & quite frankly he meant business: very technical, talking about tactics, etc. perhaps he has to polish few things, perhaps joke a bit more, but he'd be alright :)

Surprised you didn't caught the joke considering just how many times you guys have commented on his weight during the years. It was pretty much a reference to that, the panic when he was a little too heavy. Yeah, he is obviously bigger than last year, but nowhere near fat. He is maybe around 70 kg, probably lighter.

And of course he would lol. He won on Angliru 5 months ago or so...

No but seriously. I only train decently during the March-October period and as of today I'm looking sharper in my bike gear than he does. Kind of painful. But hey, that isn't normal ;)

Believe me, you always think you are leaner than you actually are. ;)

Even then ;).
But no matter how fat or lean El Jefe is, he is still a way bigger king than any other human being, dead or alive.

Weird. I can hardly tell that’s him. I’m not talking about his weight. The way his face looks from the side...
