See, that's exactly what I'm talking about. Something fresh that tries to use some of the team kit's design without completely disrespecting or dismissing tradition. So, they didn't stick with that?

I think Kafviar means that Magnusson isn't using that anymore because he isn't reigning champion anymore. He won in 2017 and 2018 title was won by Lucas Eriksson.

Yes, team design, not team colours. Can you imagine if they'd insisted on keeping the pink shoulders?

Aquablue have released photos of Conor Dunne's new irish champions jersey.

Pretty underwhelming as Vermarc have done great things with the QS national champions jerseys. I thought the chevron/arrowhead/ logo could have been better integrated into the design

Yeah, doesn’t scream “Irish Champion” really.

Unrelated note, but I like the trick of the camera that makes it look like those mountains in the background are almost as tall as Conor.

The Irish champion jersey has been following a typical style recently with a general common appearance indicating possible influence from Cycling Ireland on the design. One guy has collected most of the recent jerseys including some amateur and age group champion jerseys

I hear you, I'm not sure how I feel about that one. I think I need to see the ss version. I like the Swiss kit.

Sadly wasn't shown even once today. Not even when he started.

Now, why on earth does Bagdonas have such a beautiful full-kit TT skinsuit, but a stupid little band for his RR jersey?

Yeah, that's really interesting to me that they have two different versions, although Lithuania is one of those countries like Austria that feels weird to me to have a full flag jersey instead of the bands on a white jersey. In fact, looking back, the only Lithuanian champion in the past almost 10 years to have a full flag jersey is Bagdonas himself at AG2R. I think we can all agree that either version is better than anything Movistar or UAE would do though :D

Yeah, but the bike has me scratching my head. Either go for orange or red-white-blue. Orange-white-blue makes no sense.
