That's an interesting news as lately Campagnolo looked like having problems to sponsor bigger teams.

maybe because campy seems(visualy) to have the same design and system since like 2008 or 2009? or maybe because of their thumb thingy system which seems weird to me?

Wouldn't this be true for Shimano and Sram also?

stuey on shimano and devolder on campy back in 08 right? also campy was already like that in 06 so that's 7 years with the same system and appearance. sram and shimano definitively changed since 06 :o

anyway what i really don't understand about campy if the thumb shifting . . . not being able to shift both ways from the drops must be annoying for pro's.

I was talking more of the economic side, as in the past few years they didnt sponsor as much as they used to do, while Sram and Shimano have been "dominating" the market.

a wheel producer (marchisio himself) told me Campy is still alive thanks to wheels, especially the Fulcrum brand.

He moves to Orica (Scott bikes) for 2013 and 2014.
Very common matter to ride the new equipment (often also shoes and pedals if there is also a change) as soon as possible if the old employer agrees.
