That was impressive stuff throughout the day. He made the rest of the field look like schoolyard kids.

Mother of god, someone will win the Tour Vuelta double this year and it's not Froome

But in all seriousness I can't believe what I just saw. He wasn't only one but around 20 levels above everyone else in this race and he wasn't exactly riding against unexperienced neopros.

His thigh is bigger than his waste. I don't think that's even an exaggeration.

Why did he ride with a watch on his wrist?

Cause he can ... or to show everyone how superior he actually is. Just adding weight and still crushing them into the ground. :D

He needs to know exactly when his contract with Movistar expires.

To tell the time? :p
At least that's usually why I wear a watch.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's so he only sees his data when he wants to glance at it. Seems like the sort of guy who rides on feel. Seems like the sort of guy who does everything on feel, TBH.

He looks thin for his standards :D
If he was professional, he would be the new valverde. What a waste of talent

Pretty sure his waste was epic back in the day

Well not sure he will win in Switzerland but there are some stages he could win ...2,4,5 are all promising
And Movistar team has no clear leader so Betancur could show something there
