Adam coming on well at CdD.

Seems to be riding himself back into form following his injury.

Beautiful timing from Adam today.

Simon's much more fun to watch, but I think Adam's more conservative style is the more likely to win a GT.

Good performance overall for Adam, I expect a top 5 at Le Tour.

Realistically if Adam can hold his shape into September which has been an issue in recent years, he's the UK's best chance for the World's.

Adam with his kick on the double digit gradients really reminds me of Purito Rodriguez. Simon is a little different though, he has a kick also, maybe not as good, but he's way more aggressive and faster finisher.

Any news on why Adam's blown up so completely at this Tour?

He fell on the cobbles, and is struggling with the heat as well.

Yates was one of the few riders who didnt fall on the cobbles and in fact avoided suffering a mechanical. He is ill, nothing more or nothing less.

Colorado next for Adam and no San Sebastian.
I guess no Vuelta also then?
Canadian classics instead?

Adam stayed in post 21 stage interview he was probably riding the Vuelta. He rides Colorado so probably no Vuelta which is a good idea. Still recovering from his crash in stage 16 of the TDF, hence no San Sebastien.

You sure about that? I'd say his TT was already too good for being really affected by that crash.

I think Adam's had a lot of bad luck this season, so I don't think it's entirely fair to criticise him too much in comparison to his brother. But Simon has been absolutely fantastic to watch, everything you'd hope a young punchy climber would be.

Hopefully they're both in decent form for the worlds.
