Yeah Jumbo is a good team for him now, hardly any competition so he can always ride for himself.

He can even be the GC rider for Lotto in this years Tour since Gesink goes for stages.
Only question is how consistent Roglic is over 3 weeks.

I though they weren't bringing their GC team to the Tour but more of a sprint + stage hunting team.

He could just simply follow wheels.

Or he could just attack Froome and Sky :) . It'd be closer to his style of racing.

As for the extension, good for both sides I guess. It looks like LottoNL realises his big potential and is going to give him more freedom to race for his own results. I like it. I think Rogla won't disappoint. I'm not thinking about the TdF yet, there are many races ahead of the Grande Boucle.

Bad luck for him again :( . He just can't catch a break  . Crashed into a vehicle before the start of the TTT. He had 5 stitches on a finger after the ride. Considering all this LottoNL did a pretty good TTT.

Roglic crashes

Just before the start at 3:30 local time, Primoz Roglic crashed.
"It was bad luck. It was very busy when we rode to the start ramp and suddenly someone opened a car door. I rode into it and cut my finger. I could still start, but after the finish they put five stitches in it.

“The team time trial went well and we rode as hard as we could. Now it's wait and see how I feel tomorrow and hopefully I can fight in the coming days. "
Engels said that his riders remained calm. Roglic took the ramp and they rode the best they could.

"It’s a compliment to the people there and to our riders. It is amazing that the team was able to maintain the focus and was able to deliver a good time trial. Especially since Tirreno-Adriatico is an important goal for Primoz, it is important that he still was able to ride a good team time trial. "

I ask those who have more experience with riding a bike with this kind of injury. How does this injury affect his performance in the upcoming stages?

Good ride today, good result. Not super, but very good. I don't know where he is in terms of his peak condition but to me he looked stronger in Algarve, although it was a different kind of race off course. I think that tomorrow's stage suits him and so does the final ITT. He should at least retain his position in the top10 and maybe even jump in the top5 if the stars align. Either way today's result was a step in the right direction. He needs to put some work on his climbing on long, proper climbs if he wants to challenge in GTs in the future. It's a long way to go, but I really think he can get there.

Roglic is a lovely guy. His reaction was that he had to let go at 4km, and was therefore disappointed, he says he knows he should be satisfied, but isn't, because "I always want to win"

Great performance today ( He has to go to Basque Country and Liege please!).
He will have to fight so hard in the ITT with dennis, dumo and Thomas for the podium or even the top 5.

Roglic is more than capable in the ITT, so even with all those specialists behind he should not worry. Remember he nearly beat Dumoulin in the Giro prologue

He is. But 4s on Dumoulin is not a safe margin and he can't take 9s on Dennis, unless the last two stages took a toll on Rohan. Pinot is too far ahead imo so the main thing for Rogla is to hold off Thomas (8s) and Castroviejo (17s) for an excellent overall top5.
